Foundations:

One of the most important steps in the homebuilding process is ensuring that the foundation is placed on the appropriate soil, and is constructed to withstand the tests of time.  Whether your home is built on a slab foundation or a poured wall foundation, you can be sure that it is built to last.  If your house will sit on a basement, we use one of Atlanta's leading foundation companies to engineer and build your poured wall foundation.  Soil engineers are used as necessary, to ensure the soil under your foundation is stable.  Once complete, all foundations receive a waterproofing system to ensure a worry free, dry basement.

Framing:

We use an engineer to design the framed floor system in each house.  The engineered floor plan utilizes I-joists in combination with several types of structural beams, and decking that is glued and screwed to ensure a solid, silent floor.

Exterior Components:

The exterior of a home is subjected to constant exposure to the elements.  Without the use of proper materials, this can take its toll on a home.  The exteriors of our homes are constructed using all weather proof materials.  We use a combination of brick, stone, fiber cement, PVC, and other composite materials on all siding, fascia, soffit and trim components.  These materials, along with high quality paint, ensure that the exterior of your home will last exponentially longer than those constructed of wood based products. 

Our roofs consist of 30 year architectural shingles, installed over a properly prepared roof deck.  All valleys of the home receive ice and water shield flashing, and adhesive backed product that is far superior to the metal flashing found in most homes. 

Systems:

The electrical systems arel be designed to provide more than adequate service to your home.  Future plans, such as finishing a basement, can be taken into account during the design phase as well. 

All of our homes feature security systems.  Each room receives phones, cable, and network connections.  The family room is wired for surround sound with in wall speakers, and flat panel television mounting.

The plumbing system will be designed to accommodate each home.  If a home sits on a basement, all slab plumbing will be installed.  This allows for the basement to be finished during construction or at a later time.  We use Delta plumbing fixtures throughout the home, and install Rinnai tank less water heaters.

HVAC systems consist of 90% or greater efficiency furnaces, and 13 SEER or higher air conditioning units.  The result is an extremely efficient system that reduces overall energy costs.

Interior Finishes:

The highlight of our interior finish package includes a heavy trim package with extreme attention to detail.  All rooms are finished with 10" baseboards, crown molding, and a five piece casing on windows and doors.  Wainscotings, coffered ceilings, architectural beams, and wood paneled ceilings are found throughout the home as well.

Flooring consists of a mixture of hardwoods, natural stone tile, and premium carpets and padding.

There are many styles and options available for the cabinetry throughout the home.  Our cabinet makers custom build all cabinetry using a a variety of materials, from  maple to reclaimed cherry.  Finish options are limitless, and include stains, glazes, paints and antiquing. 

We us a wide variety of appliances in our homes, depending on the kitchen design and client preferences.  Some of our preferred vendors are Wolf, Viking and Kitchen Aid.
